Main Course or Appetizer Meatballs

Looking for something scrumptious for dinner tonight or to take to a holiday party?
Try my amazing meatballs, they are super simple to make and really delicious when served in your favorite marina sauce.
Dish them up over pasta or put them out just in the sauce for your holiday appetizer buffet.
Tip-when forming meat balls don’t compact the meat, this makes them tough.

Meat Balls
2 pounds 90% lean ground beef
1 pound package hot breakfast sausage
2 eggs
1/3 cup cream
1 cup plain bread crumbs
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1 tablespoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons burger seasoning or ½ teaspoon of each; celery seed, garlic powder, onion powder, dried mustard, paprika and an additional 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl combine all dry ingredients and seasoning and mix very well. Add eggs and Worchester sauce to cream and mix well. Crumble meat and sausage into dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients and mix well with your hands being careful not to compact the meat. Using a kitchen scoop, portion and roll the meat balls. Place balls on a foil lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the meat begins to brown. Serve meatballs in your favorite marinara sauce.

Thank you for sharing this recipe! I’ve made many versions of meatballs but have never used cream! Do you think that it makes a huge difference? I’m going to have to try! I’m new to your blog, and it is lovely! I love that you’re trying to gather families “around the table.” So often, we eat everywhere BUT at the table..What could be better than to enjoy delicious food with beautiful people

      Hi Min!
      Thanks for the kind words!
I am so glad that you are thinking about getting your beautiful family around the table!
As far as the cream goes, yes, i do think it makes a difference. The cream just seams to make the meatballs really soft and tender. Try it and let me know what you think!
