Double Chocolate Bars
1 package chocolate cake mix
1 stick of butter melted
1 egg slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
½ can sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8×8 glass baking dish with nonstick spray. In a bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, vanilla, egg and mix well. Pour half of the very thick batter into the bottom of the dish and press to make a layer. Sprinkle chocolate and nuts evenly over bottom layer. Drizzle milk over dish. Last, spoon on remaining batter and seal up creating a top layer using a knife if necessary. Bake 35-40 minutes until bars are puffed and forming a crust around the edge.
