Happy Valentines Day!

Nothing says I Love You on Valentines Day better than chocolate! Bake up at batch of my Homemade Brownies, they will knock your socks off!

Homemade Brownies
¾ cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cup flour
¾ cup dark unsweetened cocoa powder
3 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 9×13 glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Melt chocolate and butter together in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals stirring in between. Add sugar and mix well. Add flour salt and vanilla and mix to combine. Add chocolate chips and nuts and pour mixture into dish. Bake for 24-28 minutes until edges are beginning to brown.

    Made it today! Great recipe to keep on hand. I didn’t have chocolate chips in the pantry (and live over five miles to nearest store) so I stirred in a cup of coconut instead. Mmmmmm!. My Valentine liked them, too. Thanks for the recipe.
