What’s for dinner tonight? How about my one pot crock pot wonder, Lemon Garlic Chicken with Green Beans. Nothing could be easier and more satisfying for a weeknight meal. Make it tomorrow for a happy family!
Tip: Load all of the fresh ingredients, except the lemon juice into your crock pot the night before you want to serve this dish. In the morning add the lemon juice and plug it in.
Lemon and Garlic Chicken with Green Beans
4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 lemons, juiced and zested
4 cloves garlic pressed
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
½ teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 pound fresh or frozen green beans
Salt and pepper to taste
Place chicken in the bottom of a slow cooker set to high. Season chicken with spices, garlic, salt and pepper, next add lemon zest and juice to pot. Add green beans on top of chicken, place lid on slow cooker and cook for 5-6 hours.
