In the mood for something fresh and tasty? Try my Spicy Shrimp and Avocado Salad recipe, developed for the May issue of The Art Of Living Beautifully McKinney TX. This sensational concoction is chocked full of seasonal produce and is perfect for warm days.

Spicy Shrimp and Avocado Salad
1 cup cooked shrimp cut into ½ inch pieces
1 avocado cut into cubes
1 avocado cut in half core removed
½ cup finely diced tomato
1 ear of corn
¼ cup finely diced red pepper
2 tablespoons diced red onion
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
1 ½ teaspoons Sriracha sauce
½ teaspoon salt
Roast corn in the oven or on a grill, when cooled, cut corn from cob. Put corn and all remaining ingredients in a bowl, reserving the avocado. Mix well. Toss in the avocado and serve a scoop over each avocado half.

Imagine yourself with the skills to prepare European style artisan loaves right in your own home! You will learn many techniques that go into producing amazing loaves including proper scoring techniques and stenciling for beautiful results. Each guest will take home 3 loaves, the baguette, batard and boule. In addition you will prepare a batch of dough from scratch to be finished in your home oven. Class includes churning fresh cultured butter. We will take a break from the ovens and enjoy our warm bread with a lovely Chopped Salad for lunch.
